Visiting California I stopped at Mono Lake in Eastern Sierra. The unique tufa towers are made of calcium-carbonate and are formed by interaction of freshwater springs and alkaline lake water. Mono lake is an ancient lake over 1 million years old. These fantastic spires make the place so otherworldly.

Walking downtown Harrisburg I noticed this statue. The abstract nature of the contemporary art caught my attention. Liked the contrast between the convoluted reflections of the statue and the straight lines of the background buildings. It symbolises to me the urban isolation and loneliness of millions of people.
